Finding ways to be OK is a new series from Red Nose and Sands.
This special online forum will explore ways of supporting surviving children in their grief after a sibling has died.
- 29 July 2020
We know how difficult it can be supporting surviving children in their grief after a sibling has died.
It can be painful to see them trying to make sense of such a significant loss when, in the midst of your own grief, you can barely comprehend it yourself.
Family life and dynamics will be irrevocably changed, and parents can feel unprepared for the questions and challenges that arise over time.
Red Nose and Sands invite you to an online panel discussion on how to best support your surviving children after the death of a sibling, including those born subsequently to a loss.
In this discussion you’‘ll hear from parents with lived experience of this unique parenting journey, as well as from bereaved siblings on their experience and how they coped with their grief.
Following the panel discussion, we will break into smaller groups based on the age group of the children you are supporting.
This special event will be hosted online via Zoom, commencing at 7.00 pm
.RSVP is essential. Book your place online now.
