A gentle space to share, listen and connect with others who understand.
Grief after the loss of a baby or child can feel incredibly isolating — but you are not alone. Our Brisbane In-Person Peer Support Group offers a caring, welcoming environment where bereaved parents can come together in person to connect, share, and find comfort in community.
Whether it’s your first time attending or you’ve been before, you’re welcome just as you are. Some parents come to listen, some come to talk — there’s no pressure, just a chance to be with others who understand.
Each session is led by a trained volunteer parent supporter — someone who has walked a similar path and brings deep empathy, compassion, and lived experience. There is no timeline for grief and no judgment here — just a space where you can begin to feel a little less alone.
I think from the moment I went to my first support meeting, things began to look up. I am now always referring people, knowing how much of a difference the group has made to me. — Tanya, bereaved parent
These free gatherings offer a gentle space to connect, reflect, and begin to heal — together. There’s no pressure to share—simply come along, listen, and be part of a compassionate community that truly gets it.
