Hosted by Red Nose Australia and Stillbirth Foundation Australia
For more than 25 years, the Service of Remembrance, Consolation and Hope has been a deeply meaningful tradition for families grieving the death of a baby or child.
Red Nose Australia and Stillbirth Foundation Australia are honoured to host this cherished service together. It is a special space for families to pause, remember and honour their precious children, and to find comfort and connection with others who understand the deep and lasting impact of loss.

A service for every family
We invite families who have experienced the loss of a pregnancy, stillbirth, or the death of a baby or child to join us. Extended family members and friends are also welcome.
This is a non-denominational, family-friendly service. Together, we hold space for every family, every story, and every precious child who will always be remembered.
Registering for the service
We kindly ask all families and guests to register, including those who have joined us in previous years. Registering means you’ll receive everything you need, including details about the photo tribute and the live-stream.
There are two free registration options:
- Attending in person at St Mary’s Catholic Church, North Sydney
- Joining online via the live-stream
Photo slideshow tribute
As part of the service, a special photo slideshow will honour and remember the babies and children who are forever loved and missed.
If your child was included in 2025
We will use the same photo again this year. There’s no need to send it again.
Adding, changing or removing a photo
If you would like to include your child for the first time, change their photo, or have their photo removed, please email Nerida Rosenthal at neridarosenthal@rednose.org.au by Monday 23 November 2026.
For a new or replacement photo, please include:
- your child’s photo
- your child’s name
- any meaningful dates you would like included.
We understand that families’ wishes may change from year to year. Whatever feels right for your family, we will respectfully honour your wishes.
Joining the live-stream
The service will be live-streamed for anyone who can’t be with us in person. Please register using the live-stream option. A few days before the service, we’ll email you a reminder with the live-stream link. Registering this way also means you can take part in the photo tribute.
Photography and filming on the night
Photography and videography may take place during the service. By attending, you acknowledge that you may appear in event photos or video.
If you would prefer not to be photographed or filmed, please speak with a member of our event team when you arrive, and we’ll be happy to make arrangements.
Getting there and parking
St Mary’s Catholic Church is at 264 Miller Street, North Sydney NSW 2060. There is street parking and a small car park next to the church. Please allow plenty of time to park before the service begins.
