A gentle and creative space for bereaved parents to honour and remember their child.
About the Event:
Creating Memories is a heartfelt, hands-on workshop for bereaved parents, co-facilitated by Red Nose and Very Special Kids, and led by creative coordinator Gerry Silk. It offers a supportive, informal space to connect with others who have experienced similar loss.
Through scrapbooking, we invite you to reflect on, honour, and preserve precious memories—using photos, keepsakes, and gentle creativity to help process and express your journey.
What to Expect:
- A safe, nurturing environment shared with other bereaved parents
- A guided creative session with all tools and materials provided
- Please bring along special photos, keepsakes, or memorabilia that you would like to include in your scrapbook pages
- A light lunch shared together
- Optional childminding available (please let us know in advance)
Whether you’re brand new to scrapbooking or have joined us before, we welcome you with open arms. We understand that grief is deeply personal, and you’re encouraged to join when you feel ready.
