Insights into Sudden Infant Death Syndrome & Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood – Community Conversation
We understand that losing a child to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) or Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood (SUDC) is an unimaginable tragedy, and we deeply respect the grief and strength of bereaved families.

This project seeks to ensure that the voices of parents like you are at the heart of shaping future research. By joining a compassionate and respectful conversation, you can help guide how research is designed especially around consent, the use of tissue samples, and how families are supported through the process. Your insights will help create a framework that prioritises care, dignity, and transparency, while also contributing to meaningful change in how SIDS and SUDC are understood and prevented.
We invite you to share your experiences and perspectives so that together, we can build a path forward that honours the memory of every child lost.
An $80 honorarium (gift card) is offered to attendees, and light refreshments will be provided on the night.
