Ways to be Ok: Finding Meaning After Loss

Red Nose Parent Forum

After the death of a baby or child, many parents describe a sense that the world has changed — including how meaning and purpose are experienced. For some, meaning returns slowly and quietly. For others, it feels distant or unclear. All experiences are valid.

This month’s Red Nose Parent Forum, Finding Meaning After Loss, offers a gentle and supportive space for parents to reflect on how meaning can slowly re-emerge after loss, in ways that feel right for them.

Together, we will explore:

  • How meaning-making can look different over time
  • Creative outlets, rituals, connections, and moments of stillness that may offer comfort or grounding
  • The many ways parents honour their baby or child and integrate loss into their lives

There is no expectation to share, speak, or have answers. You are welcome to listen quietly, reflect, or contribute in whatever way feels safest for you.

This forum is facilitated by Red Nose and is open to parents who have experienced the death of a baby or child. We warmly invite you to join us and connect with others who understand.
