Let’s meet for coffee and a chat. The first round is on us.
This time, we’ll gather at the cozy hidden gem, “The Local Loaf” in Glenside.
While we chat in this safe space, you also have the option to keep your hands busy by making pocket hearts.
These hearts go in our packs provided to South Australian hospitals and are given to families with our brochures, and I need your help to make them!
We’ll provide everything you need and show you how; all you need to do is arrive however you authentically are.
Don’t want to make hearts? Perfect – Just come for the chats, that’s totally fine!
What to expect?
This is a casual gathering where we chat about anything and everything, loss-related or life-related.
You can be years down the line or have had a recent loss, but we meet you wherever you are in your journey. There is always a mixture of smiles, connections made, and occasional tears – you are safe to express anything here and meet others who understand.
Will there be babies/children?
At events, we sometimes have pregnant people attend, but they are bereaved parents too, who are often very mindful and thoughtful in their conversations around this. We may sometimes have people attend with rainbow babies or children, too. We ask, if you are one of these people, could you please let us know you’re coming?
Similarly, if you are attending and are nervous about seeing a pregnant person or a baby, please reach out to Bonnie, and she can let you know if anyone is coming and talk it through with you so you feel supported and assured.
You can RSVP or ask any questions by emailing Bonnie at bonniepaxton@rednose.org.au, or mark yourself as ‘going’ and I’ll see you there with a smile.

If you wish to see more SA events and information, you can join our Red Nose Community in South Australia Facebook group.
A gentle reminder: Our community events are not formal support groups, but rather a space for all to come together, no matter where you are on your journey. Whether you’re navigating childlessness, trying to conceive, currently pregnant, or simply seeking a space for all to come together, no matter where you are on your journey. We embrace the diversity of experiences and look forward to creating a warm, supportive space for all.
