This is a relaxed paint-by-numbers session, open to everyone, whether you’re a confident artist or haven’t picked up a paintbrush in years. You’ll choose from a selection of beautiful designs and create at your own pace. Sometimes it feels easier to connect when our hands are busy, and painting can offer a moment of calm, reflection, and a chance to be alongside others who understand the journey of grief.
This session will be lovingly facilitated by Fotini, our Community Engagement Coordinator and a holistic counsellor who hosts a range of mindful events, art, and wellbeing sessions.
There’s no pressure to create anything “perfect”
This isn’t about the finished piece. It’s about giving your mind a break from the constant thoughts that grief can bring, and a chance to connect with others who get it. Focusing on colours, shapes, and simple brushstrokes can help quiet the mental noise, keep us gently occupied, and bring us back into the present moment. As our hands stay busy, our nervous system often begins to settle, allowing us moments of calm and relief.
The process is often more important than the finished piece. As you paint, you may find moments of calm, reflection, connection, and even healing.

A gentle reminder: Our community events are not formal support groups, but rather a space for all to come together, no matter where you are on your journey. Whether you’re navigating childlessness, trying to conceive, currently pregnant, or simply seeking a space for all to come together. We embrace the diversity of experiences and look forward to creating a warm, supportive space for all.
