Melanie’s daughter Mylee was just 15 months old when she died suddenly in her sleep. One moment, everything was normal. The next, her world changed forever.
For years, Melanie was left with one question no parent should have to ask: “Why did my baby die?”
Instead of living with unanswered questions, Melanie was motivated to find them herself. She went back to study and became a researcher. Today, she is working to understand why babies die suddenly, and how we can prevent it.
Your words of support, hope and encouragement will be shared with Melanie and her team working to find answers and save little lives.
After sharing your message, you’ll have the opportunity to support life-saving research like this.
For Mylee and every baby who should still be here
Mylee was deeply loved. She should be growing up alongside her family: laughing, being cheeky and playing with her best friend & big brother, Chase.
Instead, her legacy lives on through research that’s helping to answer the questions no parent should ever have to ask.
Every breakthrough brings us closer to a future where more babies are safe, and fewer families experience unimaginable heartbreak.
