Since 1977, Red Nose Australia has been working tirelessly to save little lives through world-leading research, evidence-based education, and compassionate bereavement support for anyone affected by the death of a baby or child.
Thanks to our supporters, volunteers, and partners, we have already made a life-saving difference — but there is still more to do.
Through our national Safe Sleep and Safer Pregnancy programs, we’ve helped reduce Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) by 80%, saving an estimated 12,069 babies’ lives since 1989*.
We provide trusted, evidence-based advice to parents, carers, and health professionals, helping them make safe choices for sleeping, feeding, and caring for their babies.
Discover how Red Nose is leading the way in preventing the deaths of babies and children through powerful advocacy, world-class research, and evidence-based public health campaigns. From influencing national policy to shaping safer products and supporting grieving families — we’re creating a future where no child dies suddenly and unexpectedly.
Red Nose Australia delivers life-saving education and heartfelt support through programs that prevent the sudden death of babies and children — and care for families when the unimaginable happens. From Safe Sleep and Safer Pregnancy advice to 24/7 grief support, peer programs, and professional training, we’re here every step of the way.
