who we are
At Red Nose, we work to save little lives through evidence-based safe sleep and safer pregnancy advice, education, and research.

We work tirelessly to prevent the loss of babies and children. When the unimaginable happens, we stand by families with compassionate, ongoing support, helping them navigate the grief and challenges after the death of a child.

Our mission is to save the lives of babies and children, while offering unwavering support to those impacted by the heart-wrenching loss of a baby or child.

Every Educator Trained. Every Baby Safer.

Every baby deserves to sleep safely — no matter where they’re cared for.

Right now, childcare workers across Australia can care for infants without any mandatory Safe Sleep training. We’re calling on the government to change that.

Red Nose Australia acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land in which our families, volunteers, staff, Board and committee members work, live and visit. We pay our respects to the Elders of those many nations from past and present, recognising their continuing connection to land, waters and community. Red Nose respects the knowledge and expertise of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with their strong culture and traditions whose hands have touched many babies birthed and children reared on this land, and together we acknowledge their experience of loss in many forms.
