We are proud to support Sydney 2 CAMberra’s Virtual Event from Monday 18th October through to Sunday 24th October.
- 18–24 October 2021
The Sydney 2 CAMberra Charity Ride was established in 2011 after a young Sydney couple lost their son Cameron through stillbirth. The tragic event heavily impacted their life and touched many of their family members and friends. In recognition of Cameron and to honour all the special families and all their precious babies and children gone too soon, the event aims to raise significant funds, awareness and support of families affected by stillbirth, infant and child loss.
This year, instead of riding the 320km from Sydney to Canberra, over 120 participants will walk, run and ride in their local areas in honour of all the little lives lost.
Over the past 10 years, Sydney 2 CAMberra has raised over $1.6 million dollars for their wonderful charity partners – Red Nose Australia, Sands Australia, Stillbirth Foundation Australia and Bears of Hope.
They have not only created a wide-reaching and empathetic community allowing families to feel supported in their grief, but they have also helped to fund important and life changing initiatives in the stillbirth and child loss space.
Sydney2CAMberra’s fundraising goal in 2021 is $75,000 – which will be distributed amongst all charity partners to fund future life-saving initiatives in the areas of stillbirth, infant and child loss.
We encourage everyone to get behind these amazing participants over the week of 18th-24th October…for more information and to donate, please go to sydney2camberra.com.
