The primary focus of this position is to deliver educational presentations aligned with Red Nose’s evidence-based education messages around reducing the risk of sudden unexpected death of infants (SUDI).
The Education Officer will be required to present Red Nose educational material to groups such as early childhood educators, health professionals and parents, and support other Red Nose activities such as baby expos, with the aim of disseminating the Red Nose messages to as many people as possible.
Delivering webinars is the primary activity, and these are typically held in the evening, with some flexibility as to when they are scheduled. In-person activities include delivering training at childcare centres and supporting the Red Nose team at baby expos.

Grants Officer

Reporting to the Director of Fundraising, Marketing & Communications, the Grants Officer will lead the development and implementation of the trusts and foundations strategy. This is a varied and interesting role, with lots of opportunity for growth. A typical day could include:
- Identifying, developing and nurturing relationships with trusts and foundations and other funding bodies
- Working with the team to understand funding needs and priorities to create strong applications for funding and reports/acquittals
- Developing impactful cases for support and create inspiring and engaging proposals and applications to secure funding
- Delving deep into prospect research identify new opportunities for support

The Red Nose Community Advisory Committee (CAC) plays a crucial role in ensuring community engagement and equitable access to Red Nose services for all Australian families. As a member of the CAC, you’ll have the opportunity to advocate for diverse community groups, gather community ideas, and address issues of concern.
CAC members are appointed based on lived experience and represent diverse backgrounds, including First Nations people, culturally diverse communities and young mothers.
