Thank you so much for supporting Red Nose, you are at the heart of everything we do.

You play a critical role in helping us to fund live-saving research, provide Safe Sleep & Safer Pregnancy advice to save little lives, and support heartbroken families who have lost a baby or child.

You can trust us to be fair, honest, transparent and treat you with respect.

This is our promise to you:

1. We are clear, honest and open

You can trust us to use funds you so generously donate to make the biggest impact possible for babies, families, carers, professionals and community members.

We promise to share updates and information with you, so you see how your gift is making a difference. This may be via mail, email, social media, SMS, the Red Nose website or any other method of communication.

You can view Red Nose’s Financial Statements and Annual Reports at any time.

2. We respect and value you

We love hearing from you. When you contact us, you will receive the best possible service. You will be treated with a high level of professionalism, respect and understanding.

We enjoy sharing updates and the impact you have made. You can inform us of your communication preferences and opt out of our communications at any time.

We appreciate your gifts. We really can’t do it without you, but we will not put undue pressure on you to make a gift. Please let us know if you do not wish to receive fundraising communications and we will ensure your request is respected.

If we get something wrong, please let us know and we will do our best to rectify it quickly for you.

3. We listen to you

We appreciate your feedback, and we are constantly striving to improve the experience for our donors and supporters. All complaints are handled promptly, objectively, fairly and confidentially. If you have a complaint, please get in touch.

We take the greatest of care not to use any images or words that intentionally upset or cause distress. If you are unhappy with anything we’ve done, please contact us to make us aware of a concern or a complaint. If we make a mistake, we will do everything possible to put things right.

4. We maintain high standards

Our fundraising is based on industry best practice. All our fundraising activities are chosen carefully to help fulfil our mission to save little lives and support anyone affected by the death of a baby or child.

We comply with the Australian Charity Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) Legislation and Australian Consumer Law where relevant. In addition, we adhere to the Fundraising Institute Australia (FIA) Code, a voluntary code of conduct for fundraising in Australia that aims to raise the standard of conduct in the fundraising sector. We require our fundraising suppliers to adhere to the FIA Code.

Where applicable, we also abide by with the Public Fundraising Regulatory Association (PFRA) Code. And we comply with Australian law as it applies to charities and fundraising.

5. We are responsible with your data

We respect your rights and privacy. Your data is safe with us. We take our obligations very seriously and we will never sell your data to third party organisations.

We’re committed to keeping your personal information safe. We take our privacy obligations very seriously and are compliant with the Australian Privacy Act and adhere to the policies set out in our Privacy Policy.
