Puggles – Bereaved Siblings Support

Puggles is a lovingly created support group for children who have lost a sibling, as well as for parents navigating pregnancy or trying to conceive after loss. Open to families at any stage of the grief and healing journey, Puggles offers a nurturing space where kids and parents alike can connect, create, and find comfort in community.

What is Puggles?

Puggles is a gentle, inclusive support program designed especially for young children (up to age 5) who have experienced the death of a sibling. Whether the loss was recent or many years ago, every child is welcome. Our group is also a safe and supportive environment for parents who are currently pregnant, hoping to conceive, or parenting after loss.

Held during every school holiday, these gatherings are filled with meaningful, age-appropriate activities that foster connection and emotional expression. Through art, craft, journaling, storytelling, and movement activities like kids’ yoga, Puggles invites children to explore their feelings in safe, creative ways. Parents are invited to relax over coffee, engage in gentle conversation, and share their experiences with others who understand.

What Happens at Puggles?

Each session is designed to be warm, welcoming, and free-flowing, with opportunities for both structured and open-ended play. Here’s what you can expect:

A Gentle Reminder

Puggles is not a formal therapy or clinical support group. Instead, it’s a community-based, heart-led space for all who have experienced the loss of a child or sibling. Whether you are:

  • Parenting after loss
  • Trying to conceive
  • Navigating childlessness
  • Newly bereaved
  • Or simply seeking meaningful connection

You are welcome here. Every story matters. Every journey is honoured. No matter where you are, you don’t have to walk this path alone.

Join the Puggles Community

We invite you and your little ones to come as you are—to draw, to talk, to laugh, to cry, to be held, and to heal. Puggles is a space where grief and joy can exist side by side, where community is built one gentle conversation at a time.
