A safe space to connect, share and be supported by others who understand.
The Bereaved Parents of Gippsland support group offers local, in-person peer support for parents grieving the death of a baby or child. Led by trained volunteer peer supporters with lived experience of loss, these sessions provide a welcoming and compassionate environment where you can talk, listen or simply be with others who truly understand what you’re going through.
Who the group is for?
This group is open to bereaved parents in the Gippsland region who are seeking connection and support after the loss of a baby or child, at any age or stage of pregnancy.
How it works:
Each session is facilitated by trained peer supporters and follows a gentle structure to ensure everyone feels safe and supported. Groups meet monthly and rotate between different locations across Gippsland. Sessions are free and run for up to 2 hours.

Groups are currently held in the following towns:
- Drouin
- Morwell
- Sale
- Traralgon
- Leongatha
How to join
To register your interest and receive details about upcoming sessions, you can either:

Once you’re registered, you’ll be able to RSVP to attend future gatherings in your area.
