Golfers had the opportunity to hit a hole-in-one to win a car at this year’s annual Red Nose charity golf fundraiser, thanks to the generosity of Slaven Mazda.
About 100 golfers and volunteers enjoyed a perfect day on the course for the Red Nose Scramble at the Murrumbidgee Country Club in Kambah (Canberra) last Thursday.
The morning started early with a barbecue breakfast cooked by the Rapid Relief Team before the players attacked the 18 holes in an Ambrose-style tournament.
Throughout the day, golfers were entertained with novelty activities on various holes while enjoying continued hospitality.
Highlights of the day included Canberra-based Masterchef semi-finalist Trent Harvey cooking a chicken barbecue on the 15th hole, Tuggeranong Vikings Club knock-em-down with a football, and wine tasting by Oatley Wines.
Special thanks so our hole sponsors Luton Properties, Tuggeranong Vikings, ActewAGL, AdPrint Digital, SolarHub, Mitchell’s Glass, Brooks Marchant, and Mr Brandman whose support made the day possible.
