Are mosquito nets over bassinets and cots safe?

In most areas mosquito nets are not required however we acknowledge that in some areas there is a health risk with mosquitos. If choosing to use a mosquito net over a cot Red Nose would recommend supervision of baby if baby is of an age where they are rolling to ensure the net doesn’t come down or risk baby becoming entangled.
