Are sleeping bags recommended for small/premature babies?

Sleeping bags are a wonderful choice for all babies, provided you choose one of the safest design.
Red Nose recommends sleeping bags that are well fitted (the correct size for your baby) across the chest and neck, have arm holes or full sleeves (to allow baby full access to their arms) and don’t have hoods or head coverings of any kind (to prevent accidental overheating and suffocation.
