At what age should infants have their arms free from being wrapped or in a love to dream swaddle?

Red Nose Education

Red Nose recommends that swaddling or wrapping should be ceased when baby is rolling (or attempting to roll)
How old is your baby?

Discontinue wrapping baby as soon as baby shows signs of attempting to roll

Modify the wrap to meet the baby’s developmental changes, e.g. arms free once ‘startle’ reflex begins to disappear which is usually around 3 months

FYI - Red Nose also has information on the use of swaddle/wrapping products
Red Nose recommends using a cotton or muslin wrap.
