Hello, I’m wondering whether our mattress protector is too padded & therefore making the cot too soft & compromising its safety? Mattress fits well & is firm but definitely feels softer once the mattress protector (and fitted sheet) are on. Mattress protector needs to be a tight fit & not padded in a way that it takes away from the firmness of the mattress.

If you are concerned that the mattress protector is too padded, then maybe it is not suitable.
