Hello, My 21 month old daughter will not wear a sleeping bag anymore. Even if I turn it around, it makes her get a rash on her neck. She's only wearing a full length onesie and she will also take this off too. The air con is all over the house and it gets cold. We turn it off in her room now. Her room is still cold and she's waking up cold too. Can I use a blanket now in her cot? Or a doona? Can I also give her a thin first pillow?

Red Nose Education

Are there some different sleeping bags available that have reduced allergy?
If you think she is cold you could try adding more clothing under her onsie.
Blankets can be used if she is still in a cot but it is recommended they be light weight & tucked in firmly so they do not cover her head & face.
The general recommendation is to withhold the use of pillow until child is no longer in a cot or is older than 2yo.
