Hello, My two month old baby can roll from her tummy to her back during tummy. She isn’t showing any signs of rolling from her back to her tummy. Should see be in a sleeping bag with her arms out? The Moro reflex is still very prominent and she is startling her self awake every few minutes. Thanks!

Red Nose Education

Most babies are rolling by 4-5 mths - some earlier & some later.
Red Nose recommends modifying any swaddle/wrap by 3 mths in preparation for rolling, so your baby is not far from that.
https://rednose.org.au/article/wrapping-babies - scroll down to principles of safe wrapping to see the graphic that shows this modification.
This is often helpful for baby to adapt to “arms free” but is only a temporary measure.

If your baby is showing signs of rolling, even if it is only one way & during tummy time, it is still rolling.
Red Nose recommends to cease swaddling & move to a cot from bassinet when baby is rolling.
Baby needs arms free & space of a cot to roll well & safely.
