Hi, can you please advise me if the Redsbaby onix bassinet is suitable for a baby to sleep in overnight. It is a bassinet that converts from the pram onto a solid stand.

Are you contacting as a parent or from a Child Care Service (including FDC) or Out of Home care?
Let me know so I can respond more specifically, as the requirements are different in some situations.

There are no Mandatory Standards in Australia for any form of bassinet.
Red Nose has the following information
https://rednose.org.au/article/bassinets

Product Safety Australia (ACCC) develop & monitor all safety standards for products in Australia
https://www.productsafety.gov.au/consumers/keep-baby-safe/settle-baby-to-sleep-safely/bassinets-and-cradles-guide
New Safety Standards will become Mandatory as of Jan 2026.

Pram bassinets do not usually meet the suggestions (“buying tips”) for bassinet safety in Australia.
Prams & strollers do carry current Mandatory Standards for safety as a transport device, not for sleeping (unsupervised)

Let me know your response so I can reply more specifically about bassinets & their use.
