Annabel

Hi First time mum here. Im looking into cots for my baby due in august and ive been looking at this particular one from the quirky bubba - https://babycotsonline.com/products/strathmore-cot?utm_content=Facebook_UA&utm_source=facebook&variant=31011182772282 In the description it says meets Australia and new standards. Ive heard thats different to to SIDS standards. Is someone able to tell me if this cot is safe. Im feeling very overwhelmed and anxious about all the risks to consider. Thankyou.

Red Nose Education

Red Nose recommends that the safest place for baby to sleep is in a cot that meets Mandatory Australian Standards. Red Nose does not mandate its own cot standards.

Product Safety Australia develops & monitors these standards.
Cot must come with information that says the cot meets these standards.
