Hi I am hoping to find out the recommendations for how far apart cots should be within a child care setting. Thank you

Red Nose has no specific research information in relation to number of cots in a room or the spacing between cots, in Child Care Services.

However, it is important to ensure there is adequate spacing between cots to allow easy access & space for Educators to check sleeping children &/or for purpose of emergency evacuation when/if necessary. 

Cots should not be so close together that one child can reach/disturb another. 
Also, follow all guidelines from ACECQA & Local Regularity Authority in terms of infection control.
