Hi! I am looking at purchasing the STOKKE® SNOOZI™ BASSINET which says it is suitable for up to 9 months once dropping to the lower level when bub is sitting. Wondering if this bassinet would still be okay to use up to 9 months once baby starts rolling based off the recommendation that babies should be moved to a cot once rolling? What is the reasoning for moving to a cot once rolling? Many Thanks.
Red Nose Education
Red Nose recommends that baby is moved from a bassinet to a cot once they are showing signs of rolling & to cease swaddling.
This is because baby needs the space of a cot & arms free to roll well & safely
Some babies have been reported to get stuck in unsafe positions when rolling in a bassinet.
Most babies are rolling by 4-5 months of age.
