Hi, I am looking at purchasing the Tasman eco “Pisa cot”: https://tasmaneco.com.au/product/pisa-cot/?sku=T-C-123W#popup2 however, have noted the product details say, “All stains and finishes are non-toxic and in compliance with AS/NZS 2172:2013”. Just confirming this meets the current Australian standards for cots as other cots state, “Complies with AS/NZS 2172:2003 and AS/NZS 2172:2010 Australian Standard for Domestic use Cots”. Additionally, I am wanting to purchase the “growbright” standard airnest mattress to use with this cot- just wanting to confirm that although it’s not the mattress it comes with, it is ok if it meets the recommended mattress size for the cot ? https://au.growbright.co/products/airnest-cot-mattress Thanks

Red Nose Education

Red Nose recommends to use a cot that meets the Mandatory Australian Standards (AS/NZS:2172)
AS/NZS:2172) meets the standards (the date is only related to a review)

A safe mattress is one that is firm, well-fitting & flat. There is a Voluntary Standard for mattress firmness (AZ/NZS:88811.1:2013) which it states on the link that it meets the voluntary standards.
Important to check it fits properly (as per info in link below - gaps between cot side & mattress)
