Hi, I have just come across the uppababy vista V3 bassinet that said it meets American guidelines to be safe to sleep over night. I was wondering whether it would fit red nose recommendations for over night sleep? As much as any bassinet or co sleeper might? (Since there isn't safety standards for them) Are there any bassinets or co sleepers you have found that meet your recommendations for safe sleep

Red Nose Education

Red Nose does not provide specific information on brand name products.
However, we do have information about Bassinet, Pram safety & use.

Product Safety Australia (ACCC) develop & monitor safety standards for products.
New Safety Standards for bassinets have been developed in Australia & will become mandatory in January 2026, & includes the information in relation to Design & Construction about stability, height of sides & mattress thickness.

Prams in Australia do carry Safety Standards for “transport” use but not for unsupervised/overnight sleep.

Product Safety information in relation to prams - Don’t let baby sleep in pram or stroller.
