Hi, I was enquiring in regards to the safest mattresses for a cot and a bassinet. I have found the Joey by Koala is one you approve but I can’t find a list of mattresses for cots and bassinets that you have approved on your site. Is it possible to send me a list of approved products as I would like to purchase something that is recommended and tested by your organisation. Red Nose does not endorse any specific product, but there are some companies whose product Red Nose has reviewed, to ensure the product meets the Red Nose Recommendations. These companies provide support for Red Nose to assist us to provide education programs for parents & families & they can mention on their web site that Red Nose has reviewed their product.
Red Nose recommendations for a mattress is that it is firm, clean, well-fitting & flat (not elevated) & this also represents the requirements from Product Safety Australia (ACCC)
