Hi, I’m a first time mum and looking to buy a co/sleeper bassinet. I have no intention of using it as a co-sleeper however like the ability to easily travel with it and it seems like one of the most sturdy. I was about to buy the tutti bambini cozee when I read on your website it should have mesh on all 4 sides. This one only has mesh on the 2 long sides that goes all the way down to the mattress. Is this sufficient? The website claims it meets the bassinet standards and quotes ASTM F2194-16e1 & 16 CFR 1222, ASTM F2906-13 & 16CFR 1218

Red Nose Education

As there are no Mandatory Standards for bassinets/co-sleepers in Australia, it is difficult to be specific, but there are several guidelines from Red Nose & Product Safety Australia (ACCC) as to what a safe bassinet would look like.
Download Bassinets - also mentions the information about US & UK standards. The standards that you have cited are US standards.

Are the head/feet ends of bassinet padded?
Does this particular bassinet have a rocking function?
Can the side be dropped down?
