Lisa

Hi, just wondering if you’d have any recommendations for pillows for toddlers? Are there any brands or types that you’d recommend for reducing SIDS risk? Thank you

Red Nose Education

Red Nose does not recommend using a pillow or other soft bedding while ever a baby/toddler is in a cot.

Sudden Unexpected Death in Infancy (SUDI including SIDS) does not occur after 1 year of age by definition.
Most toddlers do not move from cot to bed till after 1 year of age, so while pillows may be used for a child over 1 year in a bed, there is no specific recommendation as to what type or brand is suitable.
Many toddlers (& older children) do not use pillows.
