Maddison
Hi, my 6.5 month old will only sleep with his hands covered with the inbuilt onesies and has just started rolling both ways. Is there a safety concern if his hands remain covered should he roll in his sleep? I’ve attempted to have his hands free on multiple occasions but it appears to be too stimulating for him. How long can I have his hands covered for before it becomes a concern? Thanks
Red Nose Education
Red Nose has no information in relation to the use of mittens when baby is sleeping.
As long as his hands are able to move normally it shouldn’t impede his ability to roll.
If he is sucking on the material, ensure there is no risk of the mitten becoming loose & increase risk of choking.
