Hi my daycare has sent a message out that red nose have updated there info on sleep bags not to be worn after baby is out of cot My son is 20 months and is still in a sleep suit (with the legs to allow moving) otherwsie he will climb out of his cot. He has moved up in rooms and is now in the toddler room where they now sleep on stretcher toddler beds. can you please confirm and send me the information of where my daycare is saying this isnt allowed once not in a cot.

Red Nose Education

Red Nose has always recommended not using a sleep bag once a child is no longer in a cot due to the risk of trips/falls.
Red Nose recommendation for a sleeping bag is one that fir appropriately around the neck, has arm holes (or sleeves) & no hood. See photo in linked article below.

Or are you referring to a sleep suit that looks like a “onsie”?
