Hi, my son is 6 months old and is in a cot in my room. He is starting to wake up when my husband goes to work at 5am. Is it ok to move him into his own room now? We follow all safe sleep guidelines. Or is it better to wait until 12 months?

After a review of research, Red Nose has now changed it recommendations to :
The safest place for babies to sleep is in their own safe space, in the same room as their parents or adult caregiver for the first 6 months.
