Hi there! I was wondering what specific age a baby/infant is okay to sleep on their tummy? I believe babies cannot sleep on their tummy till they have completed 12 months but want to confirm to do the right thing please. Thank you.

Red Nose Education

Most babies will be rolling by about 4-5mths of age & many of them will prefer to sleep on their side or tummy.
Alway continue to place baby on their back for sleep.
Once rolling baby needs to be moved from a bassinet to cot, cease wrapping & increase tummy time when awake.
When baby is rolling well, baby can be left to sleep in their preferred position - after being placed on back for sleep.

Have a look at Red Nose information on rolling, & let me know if you have further questions.
