Hi. My 5 week old likes to be in a swaddle and then tucked in with a blanket to sleep, I’ve been looking at the basinet tuck in sheets such as the ergo ones. Are these safe?

Is there a reason you are planning to no longer use a blanket tucked in on all 3 sides for your baby?

When considering any bedding for baby it is important to ensure baby’s head & face remains uncovered, bedding is firmly tucked in & any base of a product is not soft or padded (which may reduce the firmness of the mattress)

Basinets are for short term use only. Once baby is attempting to roll (could be as early as 3 mth) baby needs to be moved to a cot & swaddling/wrapping ceased)
