I am an educator at a childcare centre and wanted some advice around the use of sleeping bags with separate legs integrated into it, when sleeping on a mattress. I couldn't find any information around this on your website. I am under the assumption, that the child is able to walk in the bag, as they have grips on the bottom of each closed foot area or don't have an enclosed floor area. I understand the main risk is that the child may slip, however I wanted to hear your thoughts around this. Thank you
Red Nose Education
Red Nose does not have any specific information on these types of sleep suits.
They are not a sleeping bag which has appropriate size neck & arm holes, no hood (& a “bag” for legs.)

A sleep suit is used for an older baby/toddler when sleeping, once they have moved from a cot to a floor bed.
The likelihood of slipping if they have grips on feet is reduced, but it would be preferred if the suit is removed once child is awake.
If baby, toddler is using a sleeping bag, then they should be used cautiously if child is on a floor bed.
