Rebecca

I am weighing up the safest sleep options for my baby once she arrives. I know it’s recommended to room share, however I feel my baby would be safest in her own room, with the fan in her room on, in the snoo bassinet where she can’t roll over, with the white noise machine on and the owlet sock monitoring her breathing and heart rate. I’m concerned that in our room where we don’t have a door our cat may jump into the bassinet and pose a risk to the sleeping baby. Given that room sharing is just one recommendation, am I right in assuming that the risk needs to be determined based on individual circumstances?
