I work at an early childhood centre in the nursery room. Lately a discussion had came up about rocking our cots on wheels to put children to sleep. One educator had stated its against sids to rock the cot. I havent been able to find any information on this. Can some please tell me if this is true.

A related concern would be when baby is in a bassinet/rocking cradle that has a mechanism to “rock itself” where baby could be rocked into an unsafe position (especially if wrapped/swaddled) if not supervised.
