Hans

I'm expecting my first baby in October and we are looking at getting a standard cot for the baby's room and a compact cot for our bedroom, do compact cots follow the same safety standards as standard cots? We don't want to use a basinet for safety reasons but want something smaller than a standard cot for our room, is there anything else you would recommend? We would like something more sturdy than a portacot.

Check the information that comes with the cot to ensure the compact cot meets Mandatory Standards as per Product Safety Australia.(ACCC) The Standard is the same for all shape/sizes of cots.
