I'm researching cots at the moment and I have noticed that some have the standard AS/NZS 2172:2003 and some say AS/NZS 2172:2010, just wondering if these are the same thing? If it says either of these is it considered safe in Australia? Is one better than the other? Thanks in advance, Jess

2172 is the number for the Standard of the product, which is what should be available with the household cot.
Product Safety Australia conduct regular reviews of standards and, if relevant, will change the date on the product standard.
In this case, the review was in relation to drop sided cots in 2009/2010.
