Red Nose Education

Red Nose has no specific information to support the use of this particular type of bedding in place of standard sheets & blankets (tucked in firmly) or sleeping bag, but has the following general recommendations when deciding on bedding for your baby.

How old is your baby?
Red Nose recommends that baby is placed on their back for sleep, ensuring bedding does not cover baby’s head & face.
When placing baby for sleep, ensure feet are at the foot of the cot, so that baby cannot wriggle under any bedding,
Bedding should only reach as far as baby’s chest so it cannot cover baby’s head/face.
Avoid the use of any soft or padded bedding.
