My baby has learnt to self sooth by putting his forearm across his mouth. He does this to go to sleep for naps and to resettle through the night. Sometimes he covers his nose. Is this common and okay?or should I be worried about SIDS risk? If so, any advice on changing this?

How old is your baby?
Does he will change his position during sleep? Is he rolling during sleep?
Is he in a cot or a bassinet?
Many babies like to touch their face or suck on their fingers to settle.
