Meg
My little one is 10 weeks old and is wriggling up her cot at night. She stays on her back the whole time and is in her arms up swaddle - is this normal?
Red Nose Education
While babies moving in cot (or bassinet) at a young age is not common, it does happen with some babies.
Many babies will wriggle/move in their an attempt to roll
Some babies also do not respond well to swaddling as they like to be able to touch their face &/or suck on their fingers.
In an effort to do this they sometimes end up in different places/positions in their cot (or bassinet)
It can help to no longer swaddle baby with arms in or else stop altogether.
Still always place her on her back for sleep.
Most babies will be rolling over by 4- 5 months. Some earlier, some later.
This is very normal as babies grow & become stronger.
Many babies then prefer to sleep on their side or tummy.
This is not something that needs to be stopped. It is important to make her new environment as safe as possible. This includes moving to her cot (which you have) & also cease (or modify) swaddling. Baby needs arms out & the space of a cot to roll safely/well.

How does she go with tummy time when awake?
