Join us this Red Nose Day, Friday 9 August for this special chalk drawing in the Melbourne CBD.
- When
- 9 August 2024
Where:
Bourke St Mall, Melbourne CBD (across from David Jones)
When: Red Nose Day - Friday 9 August
Time: 8am – 3pm
The Red Nose community and the general public are invited to participate in the activation by adding name, drawing or message inside the hearts - dedicated to a baby, child or someone special, with the idea that all 300 stencilled hearts will be full by the end of the day.
A chalk artist will be creating a Red Nose Day-specific artwork in the early hours of Red Nose Day, and around this centrepiece will be stencilled hearts in different colours, that each represent a type of loss.
We have invited the families connected to Red Nose to join us on the day.
All are welcome to help us remember the little lives that remain forever in their family’s hearts.
The chalk mural will give bereaved families and the general public an opportunity to engage in the Red Nose Day in a beautiful and meaningful way.
