Skye and Cherisse will explore the Safe Sleep Guidelines with First Nations Families.

Skye has a long-standing history of working with First Nation communities and is passionate about improving health equity and outcomes for mob through nurturing safe communities and safe environments for our people to thrive in.

Cherisse is a member of our National Scientific Advisory. She is a midwife who works for the Australian College of Midwives leading the Birthing on Country (BoC) Project, a national project aimed at implementing First Nation models of care. The aim is to restore current maternity care services in collaboration with First Nation women; ensuring the provision of culturally safe care to women and families.
