What can I do to sleep my baby safely?

Hi My baby is 5 weeks old If we make him sleep on his back, he never sleeps. He grunts loud and does something similar to choke and vomits in sometime . Believe that’s called reflex, We tried him in a big cot, and in a little bed, or our own bed- any flat surface on back he feels very uncomfortable Any idea or suggestion to make him sleep on back and why this problem occurs ???

I have heard lots of new parents ordering the SNOO bassinet. Has there been aby research done on this product? Is it safe?

My 16 month old moves around her cot a lot which is fine as she sleeps in a sleeping bag but it can distress her a fair bit when she gets herself stuck horizontally with her back against the head of the cot. I don’t want cot bumpers as I obviously know the risks but Is there a SAFE product on the market that will either keep her at the foot of the cot, ensure she stays vertical in the cot or stop her from bumping her head?

Our Bub is 7 weeks old and gets very congested and gets reflux when we lay him flat on his back. If there are no blankets being used in the bassinet, is it safe to use a crib wedge under the mattress to elevate him? I’ve read a slight elevation has helped others with this issue, but have also read caution due to the infant slipping down in the crib and under blankets etc. If the blanket hazard is removed, what are (if any) the other risks to using a crib wedge?

Hello! I just wanted to ask what age should a child be sleeping on a stretcher bed? As there’s a child at my centre who has special needs and is 2 and a half who still sleeps in a cot. Thank you!

We use white noise (shusher) during the night. Is this creating any risk? We are adhering to safe sleep practices.

My 12 week old sleeps in a mesh side bassinet in our room, he constantly is turning his body in his sleep and ends up almost horizontal with his head right smooshed up against the side of the bassinet. Is there a way to prevent this? And with it being mesh is it safe to assume he can still breath just fine? I wake up constantly to check he is breathing and am forever repositioning him.

My baby is nearly 14 weeks old, has not started rolling & still has startle reflex, so I am currently putting her in an ergo pouch to sleep. Once she is rolling/startle reflex gone, do I simply put her arms out of the ergo? Or get rid of it all together? And then still no blankets in the cot, correct?

Our four week old baby manages to wriggle to the edge of her bassinet that is closest to us every time we put her down. She’s been doing this since she was a week old, despite us always lying her in the middle of her bassinet on her back. She usually sleeps with her forehead against the side of the bassinet. Is this safe?

Looking to buy a bassinet for newborn to sleep in overnight in parents room. I’ve noticed that they do not have standards like cots do. What are the best options? Are the rattan bassinets safe to use?
