I have a 1 week old bub and I've noticed that he seems to be rolling to one side. I dress him in the 'love to dream swaddle suit'. Just wanting to know if there is anything I can do to prevent him from actually rolling over and if I need to look at a different solution. Thank you

Most babies do not roll to tummy intentionally before 3 months; however, some babies do roll, especially to the side, at a very early age.

Some babies do not respond well to wrapping/swaddling & prefer to have their arms free.
Some babies like to touch their face or suck fingers when settling.
You could try settling him without any swaddle, or wrap with his arms out. (as for 3 mth old)
Red Nose recommends wrapping/swaddling by using a light cotton or muslin wrap.

Are you using blankets?
He may be more settled in a cot rather than a bassinet.

Have you commenced tummy time yet when awake?

Always place baby on the back for sleep.

Red Nose does not recommend the use of sleep positioners.
Red Nose does not recommend positional products such as anti-roll devices and items that fasten a baby into a sleeping position.
Products that restrict the movement of a baby or a baby’s head should not be used.

I assume you are asking in relation to the previous question about the 1 week old baby rolling to side?
Red Nose recommends cotton or muslin wraps when swaddling.
However, if baby is rolling (or attempting to roll) then swaddling should be ceased, not transitioned.
Baby need arms free when rolling (or from 3 months)
