We've just bought a caravan and are planning some trips. Our 4-month-old has moved to a cot at home as she rolls and needs more space. We can’t fit a cot or travel cot in the caravan. It has 3 firm bunks with mesh to prevent falls. Is it safe for her to sleep on the bottom bunk? I'm unsure about the wall on one side—what if she moves and her face presses against it? Thanks in advance.

It’s difficult to be certain about the safety of sleeping a 4 mth old on the bottom bunk bed. How high is the bottom bunk from the floor?
Is it likely that her face would be firmly pressed against the wall? Is there good airflow around the bottom bunk?
Red Nose would recommend the use of a portable cot when away on holidays, but I hear that you cannot fit that into the caravan.
